David was a councillor for 7 years up to 2019. He held a number of roles including chairing Health and Adult Social Care, was a director for the Bournemouth Development Company and Chaired Audit and Governance. Following four years when he has renovated his bungalow, David is looking to get re-elected and help the local residents.

David runs a company based in Poole that provides training for landlords and letting agents, and other support services, across England and Wales. They have a number of significant clients include all the London local authorities and the Welsh Government, running the training for their landlord and agent licensing scheme as well as individual landlords and businesses.

David has been an active member of Bournemouth West Conservative Association hold one role or another for most of the last 14 years. He is currently the association President.
