With more and more marine life being killed by ocean plastics, we welcome the news that Iceland and Co-op have declared support for a deposit scheme for plastic bottles to reduce litter and ocean pollution. Michael Gove has vowed to take action on plastic pollution to protect our oceans and precious marine life. The Secretary of State has already banned microbeads, found in cosmetics and toiletries, and is taking action on single-use plastics to help protect our oceans for future generations.
