Dear Member, 

General Election 2024 

Firstly, thank you to all members of the Association who gave so much time and effort to the General Election campaign in Bournemouth West.

 The result of the election was obviously extremely disappointing, and we all send our heartfelt commiserations to Sir Conor on the loss of this seat in particular.

 Once we have clear direction from the Party nationally, we shall begin to map out how we plan to recover here in Bournemouth West and start to prepare to win both in the local elections next time, and the following General Election.

 Your Association Officers are working hard to stabilise the financial position and ensure that membership of the Party in Bournemouth West is able to adjust to not having a Conservative Member of Parliament for the next five years.

 The road ahead is uncertain and extremely challenging, but with the support of our Members we shall be able to repair some of the electoral damage and plan for better results in the future.
