THE ANNUAL FUNDAY IN THE PARK
The West Howe community and your local Conservative Councillors welcomed Bournemouth’s Mayor and Mayoress at West Howe’s popular Fun day. There were a variety of Stalls and Events held during the day including entertainment for all Children. Events like this really do help to bring our community together, and grateful thanks must go to Jeff Coombs, to whom we work with on many occasions in West Howe and Martha Searle for making this event such a triumph. This was only possible through support from the Council’s Local Improvement Fund.
Your local Champions getting things done
Your three Conservative Councillors have been a strong team over the last twelve months. We have been working for you across Kinson South and standing up for your interests at the Town Hall. We work closely with Bournemouth Council staff from dealing with rubbish, fly tipping, recycling to street lighting and potholes. We are grateful for the Parks Department for assisting with our West Howe Children’s Park, (which has won a ‘Thriving’ award). We also work with the library services and have supplied a new notice Board, plus painting the outside. Paid from our Local Improvement Fund.
New Signs
At last we have two new signs erected at the top of Poole Lane and the turning to Fernheath Road. Welcome to West Howe. These long awaited signs supplied by Bournemouth Council give a welcome identity to West Howe and to direct where you are. To add to this we must not forget the recently refurbished Henry Brown Centre, also with its new signs. Finally, we continue to support the new Community Centre, Howe Croft, with excellent facilities for the local community.
We as Councillors for your ward, strive to maintain and improve all our services across the Council for the benefit of all our residents. Remember, your Conservative Councillors are here for you.
