Blue Quiz III

The question is, can you attend a quiz and have fun even when you lose? At the recent BWCA Blue Quiz held at the Kinson Conservative Club, some of the happiest people of the evening were those who went home with the wooden spoons. 

Our resident Quizmaster Councillor Nigel Hedges served up a series of challenging yet entertaining questions across a huge range of subjects. Yes, there was a bit of politics a large measure of sport plus some additional teasers all designed to stimulate our “little grey cells”.

New BWCA Chairman, David Sidwick was delighted to welcome teams from right across the Bournemouth West constituency (including from Branksome East in Poole), it was a competitive evening with much fun and just a little heated debate about some of the answers. Quizmaster Nigel followed his usual policy of "firm but fair" and kept the laughs going throughout. The raffle was a big success with winners carrying off prizes that they were largely happy to take home with them. Plans are already afoot for the next Blue Quiz so keep an eye out for information.
